The German Influence

In terms of philosophy and literature, the most renowned thinkers happen to be from German descent. Those especially, Goethe, Nietzsche, and Schopenhauer, have influenced the realm of thought since they were writing in the centuries before now. What does that say about human nature? Can one area of western culture really have that much influence? The "will" and the notion of will to power, coincide with Goethe's Faust, in that criticism becomes the ultimate form of art.

how about art of music? beethoven and wagner among others. german composers seem to be way more powerful than others. but hitler was a big fan of wagner, so his music was not allowed in public for a while after world war 2. german music is my favorite also..
